The CBCA Awards Foundation funds the monetary prizes for authors and illustrators of Winning and Honour Books in the Children's Book of the Year Awards. Receiving a cheque is an enormous boost to the creators of these wonderful Australian children's books.
The CBCA permanently acknowledges Benefactors ($20,000 and over) and Major Donors ($5000 and over).
The CBCA Awards Foundation is a tax deductible fund listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations under subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

National Centre for Australian Children's Literature
The National Centre for Australian Children's Literature (formerly Lu Rees Archives) is a collection of biographical files about Australian children's authors and illustrators, including copies of their books. The Archive includes rare and foreign language titles, authors' and illustrators' papers, manuscripts and artwork, and research files on over 300 Australian creators in one readily accessible place for students, researchers and the general community. This broad and in-depth collection provides a particularly rich and comprehensive overview of Australian children's literature, its creation and publishing endeavour. Your donation will help keep this legacy of literature alive for future generations.
