A book of ideas & activities (Blackline masters) covering the theme, reading promotion and selected books from the CBCA's Book of the Year Awards. This is a useful book for libraries and classrooms. It is aimed at the primary school level but does include some content suitable for lower high school students.
This year CBCA Book Week will be celebrating Find Your Treasure; an inspiring theme provided by The Children’s Book Council of Australia. This book explores the many aspects of this theme as well as a range of easy & fun activities for the Short Listed Early Childhood and Picture Books of 2018. Activities are designed for individual works as well as for great displays for the whole school to celebrate the theme and the books.
