2022 20c Coloured Uncirculated - Book Week Coin - 20th anniversary of Diary of a Wombat, Produced by the Australian Royal Mint

Animalia is a classic Australian children’s book, written and illustrated by Graeme Base. We have produced these postcards featuring Graeme's 'Lazy lions lounging in the local library' to celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2021. Available in packs of 10, they are printed on 335gsm board and come packaged in clip seal bags. These postcards are part of an Animalia 35th Anniversary range which includes a special coloured 20 cent coin available in a display card or with an anniversary edition of the Animalia. The Royal Australian Mint has partnered with the Children’s Book Council of Australia to release this coin, the first of a new series. Launched for 2021 Book Week, the coin is a nod to the joy and importance of reading.
