Schools, libraries and other public institutions wishing to order merchandise with a purchase order, please contact your state branch office and request their order form.

All prices on this website are listed in Australian dollars (AUD $).

Delivery Times

Our eStore orders are sent via the Australia Post network which is currently experiencing delays due to an increase in parcel volumes and a reduction in air freight capacity and frequency of flights caused by the business impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Express Post parcels are currently taking five business days or more for delivery. Please see the Australia Post website for the latest updates on delivery timeframes.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Standard Australia Post shipping and handling is charged at a flat rate of $12.50 within Australia. 

Please note that our flat posters and wall graphics incur an additional charge of $1 per poster to help cover the cost of packaging them in a cardboard tube.

Refund and Returns Policy

The Children’s Book Council of Australia is committed to honouring your rights under consumer laws. If your product is faulty or is different to the product you ordered, we will assist you to fix the problem. This may include a refund or replacement depending on the nature of the problem. The Children’s Book Council of Australia will accept the return of goods for replacement when:

  • The goods are returned within 30 days
  • The goods are returned in a clean, saleable condition, in original packaging
  • An authorisation is attached for the product being returned
  • The purchaser will return the item at own cost, we will issue exchanges free of charge thereafter.

Please note that discounted items cannot be returned for a full refund.
